Asa Brown: Head Coach/Backs Coach

Asa Brown has been involved with the sport of rug y for over 12 years in the United States.He began his playing career at Florida State University where during his time he was selected to the All-Florida team and was a captain for the Seminoles squad. During graduate school, he began coaching for Florida State starting as a positional coach and eventually moving into the role of head coach for the team. From 2015-2016, Asa began playing for the Seattle Saracens rugby club. In 2016 he moved to Pullman where he began coaching the WSU Rugby Team as the head coach to present day.

Cameron Soller: Assistant Coach/Forwards Coach

Cameron played for the Tacoma Tsunamis U-19 from 2002 to 2006. He was selected to play for the Washington Ravens U-19 squad in 2005 and then played at WSU from 2006 to 2011 where he was president and captain from the years 2007 to 2011. During his time at WSU, their team placed in the Pac-10 top 3 at the Dennis Storer Pac-10 tourney at UCLA on multiple occasions. Additionally during his tenure as a player, his team was also ranked as high as 13th in the nation in all of Div 1 collegiate rugby. After his career at WSU, from 2011 until 2017 he played and captained the Tacoma Nomads Men’s team. In 2017 he was part of the Men’s squad who won the PNRFU Div 2 championship. In 2017 his family moved back to Pullman where currently is serving¬† as an Assistant Coach who is primarily working with developing the forwards.¬† This being his first experience coaching, he is very excited to help WSU return as a dominant team in the pacific northwest.
